Step back to the early jet age with this 3D-printed model of the old Idlewild Airport Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower, the original control tower at what is now John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Queens, New York. The real tower stood 170 feet tall. Idlewild was the airport's name until it was renamed in 1963, and this model captures the tower from that era.
Each piece is precisely printed and assembled to show the tower's distinctive structure and classic design. A great fit for aviation enthusiasts, collectors, and history buffs, it makes a natural companion to our current JFK ATC Tower and the TWA Flight Center at JFK.
Available in 1:200, 1:400, and 1:500 scales to suit airport layouts, offices, aviation museums, or as a unique gift. Kits are made to order.
Here are the height dimensions for each scale:
| Scale | Height |
|---|---|
